From GXTest Designer it is possible to specify the desired level of detail for the results obtained from the tests performed.

The aforementioned configuration allows both HTMLs and screenshots to be saved in certain steps of the test case. This setting can be configured through the menu by accessing Options -> Local Settings.

The available options are:

  • None: Neither the HTML, nor the screenshot of the page are saved.
  • On Error: Both the HTML and the screenshot will be saved from either the commands on which an error is triggered, or once a validation fails.
  • On Validations & Errors: apart from saving the details about the steps in which an error takes place, it also saves them throughout all of the validations.
  • Detailed: It saves the HTML of the page and a screenshot for every single step of the test case.

On the "Other" tab, we can include the test case execution results into the automatic document generation. See Automatic_Test_Case_Documentation
