Automatic Test Case Documentation

You can automatically generate documentation of a test case, after the execution of it in GXtest Designer.

The generated document contains the steps performed by the test case and the screenshots taken during execution(*). Also it is possible to configure GXtest to include the results (passed or failed, time taken) of each step of the execution. This setting is found on the Options menu -> Local Settings -> Other -> "Include testcase results in document".

Because the document is generated from a MS Word template, you can modify the template to adjust the logo and document formats included. The template is located in the installation directory of GXtest Designer, under the Files directory (by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Abstract\GXtest Designer\Files\DefaultTemplate.dotx

(*) The screenshots included in the document settings depend on the configuration of execution detail level (See Results detail configuration).
