Importing and exporting allows you to transport Test Cases from one GXtest to another. When you export a Test Case the data is transferred to a XML file which consists of all of the Test Case information, any embedded Test Cases, the definition of Data Pools and their data, etc.
To access this feature go to Test Cases > Import & Export.
Importing a Test Case
Simply choose the file that you want to import.
Exporting a Test Case
In the export menu choose which Test Case you want to export.
- Definition of Data Pools
- Data from Data Pools
- Embedded Test Case (and their Data Pools)
If you don’t want to import a Test Case recursively, the Test Cases included in the export ought to exist (or be created) into where it imports.
